Welcome to the Snowman Quilt Challenge.
If you’re looking for a fun winter sewing project that includes fun fabric, needlework, applique and quilting… then you’ve found the perfect project! This project is for all skill levels and is taught in a beginner style. So, no one is left behind!
The “Fashionable Snowmen” wall quilt will be 34″ x 34″ finished. It will include 4 pieced and appliqued snowmen quilt blocks.
The series will go like this:
| Part 1: Piece and sew Block 1 | |
| Part 2: Piece and sew Block 2 | |
| Part 3: Piece and sew Block 3 | |
| Part 4: Piece and sew Block 4 |
- Part 5: Assembling the quilt and finishing. (December 30)

Here’s a sneak peek at the first draft of the quilt. A new image will be posted once the fabrics are chosen… and as the quilt design evolves.
Each block of the quilt will be revealed every 3 to 4 weeks and posted on this site.
I will post templates, patterns and sewing instructions for each quilt block. Video will be added as needed to explain certain techniques in more detail.
If you want to be notified when each new quilt block is posted, please make sure you are a subscriber to my free Sewing Tips newsletter. I will make the announcement for this project within the newsletter.
You must be a Super Sewer Member to have access to the templates, patterns and sewing instructions.

I was wondering if the schedule could be moved up a little. I was hoping to finish this in early December to be used this Christmas.
Thanks

hi Jenny
Has part 5 of the snowman challenge being posted yet? ….as I dont seem to see…i.e finishing the quilt etc. Needless to say I am not very interested in the actual Xmas theme at this stage, but can still use the basics from the challenge to apply to a year-round quilt.
