Sewing Tips

Make your iron your best friend when sewing. Always press your seams. Press them open to reduce the bulk of a seam. Pressing your seams open also allows for a crisper edges when you turn your fabric right sides out.

Pressing your seams also gives you a cleaner and more professional finish.

So press your fabric and seams regularly throughout your sewing project. You’ll be glad you did!

I made “How to sew expensive looking drapes in a day”. In the picture it looks like the heading is about 14″ long but when I made them the heading was only 7″. What did I do wrong?

    Hi Jenny,
How can I get rid an iron crease out of my pants?
    Thanks,
    Shelly
