Window Valances

How To Sew A Pleated Scalloped Valance

This lined window valance looks great! The gathered sides create softness, the box pleats create a tailored look and the bias edge adds that professional detail. Plus, it’s easy to make!

This window valance pattern can be customized to any size window and to any length.

Jenny, this is awesome! In your example, what size window are you using? I see you said 8″ in from edge but, used 12″ when measuring - did you add 4″ to create the gather? I’m trying to figure out my SW on a 48″ window, any suggestions?
    Thanks so much! Sarah
