Yes! In fact, come late this year or early next year, there will be a 6 month series on sewing for the bedroom. It will include bed throws, comforter covers, bed skirts, drapes, roman shades, pillows, sheets… etc.
Where can I find the step-by-step instructions for making ‘top-down, bottom-up’ roman shade. From the video I cannot figure out how to attached the blind to the wall to enable the top to be lowered. Can you advise me.
From your video “top-down, bottom-p’ blinds, I cannot figure out how to attach the blind to the wall. Where can I find step-by-step instructions, with pictures, for this blind?
Thank you.

This video is simply a bonus add-on video to the How To Make Roman Shade video series. These instructions show you both in video and in illustrated instructions how to make and install a roman shade. The videos show you how to make a standard roman shade. But after watching the entire tutorial and then watching this bonus video again, you’ll be able to easily change the top hem and the installation of the cords.
I have tried this shade as describe, but its very confusing to me i will prefer to see u demonstrate it in a video as you did the others, the bottom is coming up but the top is not some thing seems to be wrong i went over the video again and again and i get the same problem
thanks for your quick response, I string the cords to right for the bottom string the cords to the left for the top and i not the cords on the left to the top rings and the bottom rings also so tell me where i went wrong am really want to know
The problem must be in how you are tying the lift cords to the rings. The cords to the left should be tied to the top rings only. These cords are not threaded through any shade rings at all. They will simply lower the top edge of the shade to the window sill.
